hi all and happy 2005...i aquired a pair of vintage jensen p 12 r's a while ago and assume that they conform to the specs of the currently manufactured ones:

I'd put those on an open baffle or make a cabinet with a large open back. Do you plan to run as a single driver or will you use a tweeter?

I have a pair of vintage 10 inch Jensens that are built like the ones shown in your link. They sounded pretty good on an open baffle. They needed a tweeter above about 6kHz and bass help below 80Hz, but what they did do sounded clean and alive. I only replaced them after I got my EV LS-12's for the open baffle.
