So after reading the article (recipe) in audioxpress by Rick Schultz. I'm afraid the JX92S in the article might not cut it with 8 Watt mono amps. So I decided to crunch some numbers in excel with most of the fostex drivers I can get nearby. So I used the FF, FE and Sigma models. My criteria is the thinist tower for wife approval factor and using drivers with 94dB or more.
Winners are FE168ES, FF165K, FE206E.
Now in the case of the FE206E, the numbers are:
1.4xFs, 49 inches high, driver at 39 inches and Sx=78 (about 9x9)
My concern is the Qts is 0.18 which is much lower than Jordan's 0.4
Am I asking for trouble?
Thanks
Paul

Most do recommend Qt around the 0.4 value of the Jordans.
