There's a definite market for excess, doesn't matter what the product is.

I'd love to read a comparison of these vs. the 1812s. Think you could request a pair?

I'm building a pair of speakers for a friend that will outperform the Triolon Excaliburs in every way.

Fred invited a few Houston Audio Society members over to his house to hear them. WOW! They are really good at regular listening levels and at high levels with a big symphonic piece playing. We heard them with, and again without the two 21" driver 1KW Cabasse subs playing. So I expected them to sound good reproducing a full symphony orchestra, but I was even more surprised by how well they image with a Diana Krall song. And the Ion tweeter is the best I've heard. You can even see the little red flame or whatever inside its horn.

Usually when we hear a really good sounding component or speaker Linda asks me if I would like to get one for my system. This time she was silent. Poverty sucks!

I dont like the colour scheme, but I like the concept. I prefer the colours of this system, although the rectangular shape with sharp edges wont sound quite as good with respect to diffraction and resonances.
