Just like any other large format basshorn, it just takes a lot of wood, some time to build and some cahones to lift the thing when it's done.

Did you ever see this picture of one of those horns on a Volkswagen Bug?

Seems to me that a full-size straight bass horn is probably the easiest to design and build. Not taking into account any bending, bracing, mounting, etc.

...And completely ignoring logistics and ALL OTHER CONSIDERATIONS, including "Honey", of course.

That's true. A straight basshorn is easy to design. Might be hard to setup and use though.

A basshorn is nothing. I watched my best buddy put one together and it was breezy easy. Even the setup was simple. Not as hard as it seems.

I'm familiar with basshorns. What I was refering to was a straight basshorn, which would be necessarily long. Most basshorns are folded, so the longest cabinet dimensions are kept within a few feet.
