Is anyone interested in a high efficiency subwoofer?

I've written a paper that shows how to make a extremely compact subwoofer with high efficiency. It's not a bandpass, or a horn, but it's similar to both. The paper is based on a comment that I read from Earl Geddes here.

Check out my article and let me know what you think. It's a free download of course.

That's a good paper and an interesting read. I've drawn some similar conclusions, and rely upon some of the same people to kick ideas around with. So your ideas have a familiar feel for me. Thanks for taking the time to do the study and for posting it here.

Wayne, thanks for the kudos! I've 'put my money where my mouth is' and begun building two subs using these ideas. They're 80% complete, but I can't work on them this week-

I have to get read for the Rocky Mountain Audio Fest!

Hi,

Any news on how these woofers sound?
I am interested in high efficiency woofers, and am curious to hear what your impressions are.

Kye.
