1-I wouldnt use an autotuba for HT
HT is demanding and requires very low frequency output

2-Why not use a larger horn thats more suited to the HT role

3-A mouth extension will improve the output particularly in a corner-even one of conical expansion

It's true that you don't have to use an AutoTuba for HT; for me the smaller Tuba 18 is quite sufficient, though it doesn't go quite as low, only 25Hz as opposed to 20Hz.
