i am so excited because i got a great deal on a asl tulip amplifier.
this is my first tube amp. what would be a good speak for this amp?
it needs to be very efficient, but i don't want harsh or cupped hand
sound. i am looking for a natural sound with good balance.

Take a look at Pi, they're a sponsor here. The Pi8 sounds great and I've heard good things about the Pi2 and Pi4 also. I just finished Pi8 speakers and I must say I'm impressed. Amplification is a Joplin modded with Auricaps, TJ 2A3s and a Electro Harmonix ECC81 input tube.

Hi Guys,
Kevin is absolutly correct. Wayne at Pi Speakers has some really good designs. Visit the Pi forum. You will learn a lot, and there is a lot of help available. If you have the room space, a corner horn is a possibility too.
Take care,
Steve
