I picked up these speakers. I have never heard sound like this. I connected them to my HK a50K Tube amp. Is this a good match? What Impedance should I set the amp to? 16, 8, or 4? Any info on these speakers would be great. Thanks....

They're 4 ohm speakers so tap the amp accordingly.

It's a coaxial speaker, as I guess you know. Production started in the early sixties. Decent efficiency, I'd say 93dB to 95dB/W/M.

greetings, i have been trolling the net for the last yr. looking for info re: tannoy 10" red enclosure plans. It seems like there is a lot of interest for horn designs. I'm thinking about reflex type boxes. Would you know of any sites which might may contain info re: cabinet dimensions ( specifically internal volume, port dimensions, etc.). If you could be of any help it would be appreciated and I will keep you posted with any progress. thanks, jim
