You can usually improve a crossover by replacing electrolytics with polypropylene caps. Use film/foil caps where possible and metalized film for larger values. I'm sure that resistors are already non-inductive types but you might check them to be sure. Some folks like to upgrade their coils too but I find the biggest improvement comes from replacement of electrolytic capacitors.

What exactly are you hoping to gain by this upgrade?

You need to contact Carl, he has made several changes to that speaker and will be able to tell you what values to use to get the sound you want, mucho experiments with that xover.
