Dear Forum,

I posted a request here back in January seeking some help for my AR XB1. Many thanks to John Remson and others who offered great advice. The XB1 is now running (as I type this!!) very nicely indeed. I have found a suitable replacement for the original head shell. Locating it is still a bit hit or miss. Sometimes I end up with one channel if it twists. This deck sounds superb with a AT 31E mc cartridge. Very delicate, open, very wide stage perhaps a little bright when compared with the Legend.

Thanks again for all the earlier help. Now perhaps I can find out more about leading the platter etc

Best Wishes From Queensland

Howard
