So what's up for Halloween? Anyone doing any costume parties? Having a seance? Getting dressed up and pretending to be a kid to get free candy?

The people nextdoor to us,both sides had parties - when the sun came up the music was just ending at ~7am :P -fortunately id been out also!

People like an excuse to dress up without realising what they are celebrating

The next door neighbor had a big party, around 75 "adults" all dressed up. I went as the Big, Bad Wolf in grandma's nightgown (actually my mother-in-law's nightgown - you should have heard her reaction when I asked to borrow her nightie and what she wore underneath.) Of course my wife went as Little Red Riding Hood. I came in second in the costume contest. I was beat out by Mr. Potato Head by one vote. I found out later my wife didn't even vote for me; she voted for one of the neighbors who was in drag......Colin
