I can't remember what my very first album was, because I got about 12 of them all at the same time when I joined Columbia House Music... Does anyone else remember them? 12 CDs for $1 and then you had to buy like 4 or 5 at "regular price" within the next 2 years... Only their "regular price" for a CD was like, $25!

Ha! I remember getting cassettes in that club because there wasn't anywhere to get music otherwise where I lived.

That's exactly why I joined. Smile We had a music store here for a very brief period of time but their prices were outrageous - even more so than Columbia House Music's "regular prices".

My first album? My best guess would be Elton John, but I couldn't even begin to remember which one. I'm being asked to go back way too many years for the memory banks to work correctly. Very Happy

I don't remember the name of the album, but the band was Head East. Timron, I was a Columbia House member too. I still remember looking through the album jackets as I listened. I think my kids are kind of missing out now that they get their music from online.
