Pretty clean and beefy....I've got them set up on the floor facing out into a large room with 28 foot ceilings. I also have Sony computer speakers to split the sound and dampen the reverberation of the room. I feel these speakers have a crisp response without being overpowering...I'm pleased.
I am assuming this is essentially a US based forum and therefore feel relativly safe to mention speakers spotted on ebay for sale in the UK. These are Coral BX1500 vintage speakers. Are these as good as claimed and can anybody give a idea of their market price? They are slightly damaged but look good. Also i would appreciate it if somebody could tell me if Goodmans Audiom 60 bass 12" is a quality speaker? I have been offered some. cheers Bob
you have good taste my man ihave apair of 1200s drove by a kr-6160 they sound awesome.im a horsebreeder in my 50 s who likes to jam ive also got a4270 marantz which my bro got in germany back in early 70s its hooked to pioneer house spks . gotta go 4-12-06 tyler tx
I HAVE A PAIR OF CORAL BX-1500 SPEAKERS. I CAN EASILY TELL YOU THAT THE SPEAKERS SOUND GREAT AND HAVE GREAT CLARITY. I HAVE THEM HOOKED UP TO A MARANTZ MODEL 2250 B AMPLIFIER AND BELIEVE ME, I NEED TO BUY A MORE POWERFUL AMPLIFIER SINCE THESE SPEAKERS TAKE THE PUNCH.
