Hi Lon,

Last time I heard from Martin King was about a month ago and he said he was taking a break from audio discussion boards. It's a pity since his reasoning is sound and his efforts worthwhile. So I hope he'll join us again soon.

Thanx Lon. Based on earlier discussions with MArtin, i think what he said was that a TQWT, becuase of the damping, will provide less midrange coloration than a pure bass reflex. However, the bass production is similar to a BR.
Wayne is right, Martin's reasoning is great, and it would be good to have him contribute more on this forum.
