Wayne,

I applaud your choice of B&C drivers. They make very well engineered and built driver units.

I work for one of the largest Pro Audio manufacturers (who shall remain nameless Smile ) and naturally we design and build most of our own transducers. We were recently faced with designing some new coaxial devices and chose to OEM from B&C instead of tooling up for the drivers ourselves. They are that good.

I look forward to hearing your babies. I have not been to LSAF since 2014 when I had a just-for-fun room testing for listener preference between FFR and IIR active filters. Work has interfered, usually at the last minute, every single time since. Mad I may team up with a friend this year to create a non-commercial loudspeaker design to show, also just-for-fun.

I hope the Show goes on as planned and look forward to seeing everyone there!

KJK

We're considering changing the date this year, to delay because of public concern over the coronavirus.

I personally would be happy to attend in June, and there are several of you that have expressed similar sentiments. We're all just ready to get out and get on with life! Laughing

But there are many people that are still concerned. And there are also many that live in areas where there are still travel restrictions.

So while I am hopeful that will all blow over by June, it might be best to delay a month or two.

Stay tuned! I'll announce here in a few days. We have an LSAF steering committee evaluating options and making a decision right now.

Hi Wayne, while I didn't plan to attend this June, I'm curious if it is still a go and want to wish everyone who does attend a safe and rewarding time.

Yes, LSAF 2020 is still a go, but it has been postponed until the second or third weekend in October. We are negotiating with the hotel on a date and will announce here as soon as it is finalized.

Hi Wayne, We might be able to do that. IMO the weather is much nicer in Texas then and the likelihood of hotels and restaurants en route is better. I would not enjoy a 2 1/2 day drive eating out of my car at drive throughs and too many box breakfasts at hotels. No fun.

Good Listening

Yeah, it should still be pleasantly warm in October in Dallas but not smoldering hot like it is in July.

Hope to see you there!

Had there been no virus, last night would have been fried chicken night at Babe's.

Alas.

You're so right! And I'd have eaten at Rudy's BBQ a couple times by now too!

But we'll do it in October instead!

MMM, Rudy's moist brisket. That stuff was yummy!

Perhaps by then I'll have the blood sugar control down enough to splurge a bit.

Just diagnosed with Type II Diabetes last week.

It's what I get for carrying around a hundred extra pounds for 2 Decades...
