Fawlty Towers is always good for a laugh! I find a lot of tv programs better than a lot of movies. It's handy to have access to a library/rental store that has a good supply of tv stuff as well as movies.

As a feat of endurance, I think that Christian Bale losing weight for The Machinist was more of a challenge that how ever many burritos Clooney had to eat to gain 50 lbs.The Machinist shows Christian Bale as life-threateningly thin. And while watching it I wonderd if it were some photographic trick. It wasn't. When asked about it in the "making of" portion of the dvd, Bale said, "I just stopped eating." Between these other things that I've mentioned, I also view some documentaries. "Paperclips" was extraordinary and moving. I mention this because I've actually seen it on the shelf at the vid store.

I found that some movies even though they are older are pretty good: Chain reaction, Goodwill Hunting, Fisher King, dark water, Prarie tales, Tales from the Hood, Galaxy Quest, Dogma, Constantine. Of the new ones in video releases: Hills Have eyes was really good. The librarian is an awesome movie, For at the movies.. I ahvent seen anything that was worth spending money on. I am waiting for the next Indiana Jones. let us not forget Serenity and the Firefly series.

Rob Zombie has a most awesom concert as well. Now if Alice Cooper, and Rob Zombie got otgether to do a horror rock opera it would be an amazing event!

I am so old. I saw the original. Now we rented the unrated version. my daughter reviews it and says " I found it to be a very refreshing horror movie. I was very happy that the dogs got more kills than the humans, in the first kill of the movie. It did have its stupid moments like when your screaming at tthe screen. but what good horror movie doesnt".julie and margo
