Is that the BR woofer cabinet size or the height of the stack for the 7 Pi? I.E. how much real estate does the 2245 want?

Not that much Bill. Even at 10 ft3, you would get 20 x 24 x 36 internal or a more conventional box shape would be 24 x 24 x 30 internal.

Jerrod

btw... still looking for those 2245's, did you see what the eBay pair went for?

The bass bin is 46" tall, but then you have the midhorn and tweeter on top of that.

I recall about $271 for one and $351 the other needed re-cone.
I'm sitting here looking at a pair of finished 2 Pi Tower cabs w/o drivers. If they were a little wider and deeper how cool would it be to have 2245 then a 2123 and finally a comp horn on top.

Hey Bill,

That was the first pair auctioned, second pair went for $406 each!

I have a pair of fancy two tone cherry 2 Pi towers in storage also. They were a lot of fun.....I wish they weren't such a pretty cabinet now, they'd be fun out in the workshop!

With the inflated pricing on JBL 18's I'm considering a departure from the pro sound low end. I may sell off the 4 2226's and do a sealed quad of Peerless XXLS 12's per side powered by a big Crown. In room response strong into the low teens. I've never heard anything like that! Just thinkin' out loud....

Don't feel bad about the pricing on the 2245's, I bought a pair of 2242's and I might get a chance to eat again next year.

They listed at $850.00 each new!
