I also have a question. can you build them without the corner "dog house roof" part in order to cut down on size for hauling around in a car? I assume you could just put the box the correct distance from the corner but I also imagine that the "roof" could provide vital rigidness for the horn. Just wondering. -Matt

The rear section of a π cornerhorn bass bin is just a positioning device so you can remove it if you want to. But the midhorn goes on top too, and it will probably be a bit clumsy without it. So I'd leave it as it is.
