Hi,

Does it hurt to change the dimensions of the 2pi and move the bassreflex-port to the back without changing the interal volume ?

I'd like to have a smaller but deeper cabinet.

Thanks,
Jim

You can make the cabinet a little shorter and deeper if you want. Just keep the internal volume the same and it will be fine. Port placement is generally uncritical; Just be sure it is unobstracted and don't put the port entrance right near the midwoofer cone where midrange frequencies can enter easily. It's nice if the port faces a panel with insulation so that midrange frequency energies are attenuated.
