This evening, I planned to go through my albums and find something classical to enjoy and write a little mini-review. But I couldn't get the song Last Dance out of my head. The stand-up bass, traditionally played with a bow grabs my attention every time. It's slow and sort of sad, and it just has that "getting ready for fall" feel.

Sarah McLachlan - Surfacing

I fell in love with Sarah in 1997, when her hit song "Building a Mystery" hit the airwaves. As soon as I purchased this CD, I found nearly every song on it was wonderful. Other favorites on the record include Sweet Surrender, Adia, Do What You Have To Do, Witness and of course, Angel.
