I'm closing in. Five sides of the cabinets are biscuited and glued, internal stiffeners and fronts are cut, so the next task is to prepare appropriate cutouts for the drivers and ports.

One question: should the tweeter horns be recessed into the front baffles so they mount flush?

Unless you really, really want to do it for style. It's not necessary and in fact there are a lot of high end studio monitor's with built in horns where the horn protrudes from the baffle. Even the flat front horns wont see much difference in response unless you are really pushiing the horn to cut off frequency. This is not the case with the 4pi crossover.

Thanks, Bill. I'm feeling lazy and was looking to avoid the extra step unless it adversely affected the response.
