I've got an extra set of components to make an Eminence-drivered Pi Theater 4. This consists of a pair each of: Delta 15A, PSD2002S, PXB2-1k6 crossover with hf comp, Peavey CH3 horn flare. These have been in and out of several enclosures and are in good shape. Right now they're in little enclosures tuned to about 150 hz that I was using as tops in a biamped system.

Price is $300 for components, $50 for boxes, plus shipping from zipcode 01035.

The Theater 4 with this driver set is very sensitive and tube friendly, and will go quite loud with a watt or less. Alas I cannot continue to collect largeish speakers and hope to maintain good relations with my spouse.

I'll email photos on request.

John

Re-reading the ad, I'm not sure if I made it clear that the $300 is for the stereo pair of components, $350 for them installed in the birch ply enclosures.

Hi Wayne,

Well, it's like this - I buttoned them up and biamped them with a little ~25 watt NAD just to make sure they were OK. One tune led to the next and after Bela Fleck had played I went and put up the "Done" post.

It's a disease, I know.

They'll get handles and speakons like the subs and start accumulating miles. I'll sell a tractor or some chainsaws instead to make room.

Ha!

I know what you mean. I'm that way with sound equipment and car parts.

Did I read somewhere that there's a Bottlehead meeting in your area sometime soon?

Hooo! Sorry I took so long to reply. Yes, this weekend we'll get together at Steve Culton's. I think I'll toss the Concentric 2s in the wagon to try out on tubes.

I sure wish I could be there! Tell everybody I said "hi."

Maybe you should post an announcement on the General, Tubes and/or SET forums. If you have time, I'd love to hear about the meeting afterwards, and maybe see pics if you take 'em.

Have fun!
