Perusing Glass Audio for some info on WE 91a amp I see there is a photo page from a guy who built the VTV 811 amp. He used a Mercury Vapor rec tube. It's Issue1 yr 2000. The guy has a e-mail and takes questions on the amp. There is a pic of the top and the circuit wiring.

Well; he didn't get too far into it, it's a one page photo shoot with a couple of paragraphs of text. He likes it and he changed the rec tube to Freds and upped the filter cap to 40uf. The pics show a nice clean design that looks really basic.
