Hi everyone,

I know that this is terribly off topic, but I wanted to share this with friends, especially the bikers among us. I just learned that Larry died while riding from California to his home in Pittsburg. In west Texas, he struck a deer, and died at the scene. Fellow riders may remember him as a contributor to Rider magazine. His many articles about riding safely have helped thousands of us ride better. I know he taught me a lot. We have lost a friend.

Steve

Damn, that's the one thing that's really hard to watch for. You can avoid the cars with a watchful eye, avoid road debris and conditions. But roaming animals are unpredictable and when they come up from a roadside valley suddenly, that's all she wrote.

Thanks for the post.
