Thanks Wayne. But will raising the port tuning compensate for this ? The speakers are bass shy away from the wall on stands. I have subwoofers, so low bass is not a consideration. I just wish to warm em up a bit. Will shortening port do this, and if so how much to shorten

Do not modify port length. Use the speakers in groups or with boundary loading. When using subs, you might choose a crossover point that makes boundary loading of the mains inconsequential.
