I've been reading a lot these days; Mostly my attention now is on point source speakers verses line arrays. I realize that a line array doesn't make sense in a club or other small venue but what about medium size shows? Where's the point where line arrays start being my best option? For me it has been a matter of visibility as much as anything else. I can get great sound from stacks but the side seats are blocked from seeing the stage. Flown line arrays are up out of the way.
