There are far more people that deserve to be thanked than I will or could possibly mention. Thanks to all of you for your participation and your special efforts at the most recent GPAF for 2006.

In addition, thank you Wayne Parham and Jim Rivers for the excellent pictures taken and posted, and to Akhilesh Bajaj for his 2006 review, and for providing us a listing of the exhibitors and their room numbers for the show. It was wonderful to be part of such a down-to-earth and genuine group of people, both exhibitors, club members, and the show attendees. The audio equipment exhibited was superb, beautiful and reflected the audio passions, preferences and tastes of the designers and their teams.

Thank you also Jef and Deborah of Abraxas Audio for sharing your excellent amplifiers in the MaxxHorn room Saturday night for a splendid after hour listening experience. Thank you Jim Griffin for sharing you thoughts on both Line Array and transmission line design.

A special congratulations to Charlie Michlin, Azzolina Audio, who in my mind pulled off one of the giant audio design miracles of all times, bringing forth in seven months six well designed new products, a new horn, a new subwoofer, a very forward thinking and superb DAC with computer interface, a preamp, monoblock amplifiers, and matching component stands all unique in design, voiced, built, and put into final production. How are you still standing, Charlie?

A special thank you to the many sponsors of AudioRoundTable.

It was great meeting you as well Bob! Those maxxhorns did sound nice. Very neutral, with great imaging.

I agree about Charlie Michlin: that guy is definitely over the top, in the best possible way! Takes DIY to a totally new level!
And very very clean sound, great dynamics.

I couldn't be at GPAF this year, as I came down with a bout of something and lost my voice over the weekend. Was looking forward to listening to the high efficiency offerings

Big thanks to the organizers and participants. Hope to be there next year.
