Then I saw the movie. THE classic AMERICAN movie of the age and the music was crucial to my enjoyment.
Tonight I watched "Down From the Mountain" a benefit concert of the musicians from the movie shortly before it opened three years ago. I was literally filled with joy at the music making of these Bluegrass musicians. Just people like you see at Wal-Mart but who hold the key to the past and future of American music.
It's our American Heritage. It's "Down From the Mountain".
