Hi, I picked up this old stereo radio today. The model number tag on the back is missing.I would guess it dates from late fifties to early sixties. Here is the description. 23 1/2" long, 9" high, 6" deep. Dark, solid wood cabinet (not plywood), speakers on each end in 5" by 7" boxes with dark brown speaker cloth. The face is aluminum and glass. Analog tuning at top, balance, loudness, treble and base controls on bottom . The aluminum nameplate has six black switches, from left to right, master (on/off), phono/radio, mono/stereo, AM/FM/, AFC ON/OFF, TAPE PH/RADIO. Underneath the switches is the name: Left side, Philco/Ford logo, then, "ALL TRANSISTOR STEREOPHONIC HIGH FIDELITY". On the back at bottom left is tape and phono RCA Jacks and antenna screws. Stamped Philco-Ford 20 watts. There is aboxfor model number but it is missing. I took the back cover off
and there was R979 WA stamped on the case. This little stereo is in
nice shape and it works very well. I am trying to get some idea of the value
because I am going to put it on ebay. Thank you in advance for any
