HI Andres
I have a Marantz MR235 which I bought around 1979 0r 1980. I also would like to know more about my receiver. I searched the web and could only find that the MR230/235/1530 seem to be the same. SO why the different model numbers. when I bought it I remember being told it was 35 watts per channel but the 1530 is rated 30 on the web. Anyway it's a quality piece of equipment and I'll never part with it. Thinking of taking it in for a tune-up. If you found anything else out about yours would like know. I believe they might be rare with Marantz changing ownership around the time these were made.
