I picked up at an auction today A Ward Airline Model #62-479. I cannot find this radio any of the books I own. Can anyone give me and idea what year it was manufactured.

It's tought to find information on the old Mongomery Ward radios. They used several OEM chassis, so you can usually find schematics once you identify the chassis.
I have a 62-479. There is a data printed on the speaker, 1938. So at least the speaker was manufactured in 1938. The radio is probably that year or very close.
