Hi,

I got some reproduction grille cloth for the Emerson radio I posted the photo of earlier.

What glue should I use to attach this to the wooden cabinet?

Hi Mark,

Just use wood glue; A white glue will work just fine. Cut the cloth large enough that it can be glued well within the open area so none of the glue wicks into the visible fibers.

I've had good luck with 3M Photo Mount spray adhesive. It's primary use is for mounting artwork. It is tacky and it doesn't wick. I looks wet when it sprays on, but then disappears.

Cool website! [message #25626 is a reply to message #25625] Thu, 13 January 2005 11:46 Go to previous message
