I have a lil hobo houseboat and want to put 4 speakers inside and 4 outside and be able to switch from one to the other or all and do this with a kenwood car stereo. The indoor/outdoor speakers that i find are all 8ohm and the speaker selectors are for home use.Can i use these selectors on dc current and should i just build some indoor/outdoor speakers with car speakers or has anyone seen 4ohm indoor/outdoor speakers. thanks for any help roy

If you want to use a switch, I'd suggest wiring in a 4P2T switch or relay. It's pretty easy to do.
