Wayne, I contacted speakerworks, just wondering, I did not see them listed on the JBL site as an authorized repair place, and their price was about 50 bucks less than the "authorized" guys Listed, do they use authentic JBL cones on ther recones? all the "authorized" places seem to be in California.

Thanks,
Russellc

David Miller uses genuine JBL recone kits. He also has generic stuff available, but I prefer to stick with genuine JBL kits, where possible. In fact, I don't think I'd want a JBL driver with an aftermarket cone. Surround perhaps, dust cap maybe, but I wouldn't use aftermarket stuff for the cone and voice coil.
