OK, so I have three hypothetical speakers here. One is a studio monitor, another for home hifi and a third for sound reinforcement AKA public address (PA). If each of them uses the same basic design and drivers, what's the difference other than finish? BTW, I said "hypothetical" just to keep the brand bias to a minimum.

If the drivers, box design and electronics (crossover) are identical then all that does differentiate them is the finish.
