I have two identical tascam 38 1/2" 8 tracks reel to reel machines. Both of them i just recently purchased and both have the same problem. No i have not much experience with reel to reel but i'm good at figuring things out. So pardon my lack of knowledge of terms. ok so both machines started makeing a funny noise comming from the small spinning wheel to the right of the heads. (the one that always spins). Then they quit spinning and now the blow the 3amp fuses everytime i hit play or edit. nybody with any clue of whats wrong?
