It felt like everyone forgot to study for the big test. Jo Koy forgot to be funny, many of the nominees forgot to appear excited, and several winners forgot to prepare an acceptance speech. Everyone just kind of blundered along while looking bored. Did you watch?
Kudos to Oppenheimer for racking up the awards. It was nice to see such impactful storytelling take center stage.
I cringed when Jo Koy made that Taylor Swift comment. It might be a getting older thing -- but as the years go by, the more I cringe when it comes to awards shows and entertainment news.
