I have a Technics Frequency Generator Servo Belt Drive SL-23 turntable that I'm not using and want to know if anyone knows if it has a pre-amp in it or not. I Googled it and could not find out that way. I have all
my vinyl LP's and stereo equipment out in my shed along with an old 486 PC that I use do digitize my favorites over to CD. I'm currently using a pretty basic but sufficient Kenwood turntable, I bought the Technics because it looked like it was of better quality, but whenever I run the Technics turntable to my receiver then over to my PC I get some humlike feedback in the speakers that I don't get with the Kenwood....
