I checked online and found a range of these speakers ranging from $30 to $200. I also read that such speakers are mostly used by the DJs. Can anyone else still buy and use them?

Is that a brand name?
If your referring to PA (public address) type speakers, typically used for large venues, then yes.
Places like Parts Express have loads of them.
They can be much more expensive than $200.
