Gosh, I didn't realize it had been 40 years! I remember the day I heard it on the radio. I was partying with my friends back home and we were on our way back from the liquor store. We tipped our glasses to the "King" on that day.

That sounds like a nice toast.

I remember the day myself, even though I was only 8 years old at the time.
It had been broadcast over our am radio "KYW 1060 Philadelphia".

I didn't really care at the time, but I can still see my "Aunt Viola" and my grandmother carrying on.

I didn't understand what all the fuss is as about!
