I in all honesty forget that the radio exists most of the time. I only listen to it when I don't have time to hook up my blur tooth in the car.

I still listen to the radio, mainly during my commute. I have satellite radio but the sports program I like has just as many commercials as my favorite F.M. channel so I stick with what I know.

I suspect your right that it's on the way out.

I have three Zenith Trans-Oceanic radios. They're wonderful, hard to beat even today. I have lots of other models too.

I have a sub to Sirius satellite radio, do the channels match up with XM? If so, I'd love to know which commercial free channels you like to listen to. There are so many to pick from that it becomes overwhelming. My Sirius sub is good for a few years and came with the car.

What type of unit did you purchase for in home listening?

Have any of you kids ever seen a tubed radio? Just AM and just barely with a little static. My grandmother had one and it's the only one I ever got a close look at. Really cool in it's day!
