How much would you pay for a speaker? Obviously it depends on the type, but what sort of budget would you say was necessary for a good all-round set-up?
I am one of those people who can go the extra mile to get the best speaker system but only subject to the ability to buy. I wouldn't say that there's a specific cap that you can place on how much a person can spend since preferences are different.

I think it depends on what kind of speaker you want, and the quality that you expect. I know there's some portable speakers that cost $20-$30, but they're usually the mini ones that play loud, but not to the point where the neighbors could hear your music.
That's a really hard question to answer, and I think that it all depends on what your audio needs are and where you're getting your equipment from. Also the quality of the speakers is a factor when thinking about price.
