My turntable has begun to give me problems. I'm only gettting sound from one speaker - this doesn't happen when I play cds or the radio.

Any thoughts on what direction I should go?

Thanks in advance,

Q
Austin

First swap the RCA output leads from left to right and see if the same speaker still has no sound. If the same speaker is still silent, you need to Borrow another Turntable to see if the Phono Stage in your set-up is functioning. If that doesn't change anything then the problem is most likely your phono cartridge. That will need to be replaced. Tell us how old the needle and cartridge is please.

Thanks!!! It was not my initial posting but still, it was my turntable question. No longer a problem, your advice solved my "JVC JL-F50" problem. Thanks again!!!!
