Martin,
I've made 4pi speakers and I live in Montevideo, Uruguay. Not far, if you want to hear the 4pi.
I've listened to a lot of speakers, including B&W diamond, monitor audio silver and platinum, sonus faber liuto and concertino, yamaha ns1000 and others and I think 4pi are better sounding speakers, at least for what I listen to.
Mine are about 40-50kg each, and it wasnt that hard to make them, I had to recone de JBL as they were bad at first.
