I keep hearing people talk about Hulu, Netflix streaming and many other options instead of cable. I will admit I am illiterate when it comes to these things. I need someone to explain to me my options (low cost) for watching TV shows if I drop cable. My cable bill is killing me. I don't want to give up sports or reality TV though. What other options are there and how do you use them?

We use a Roku box. You can get one at Walmart for between $60 and $90 but it is a one time fee. Through your Roku box you can play subscription services like Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime. There are also lots of free programs (channels) on the Roku like cooking shows, outdoor shows, and even PBS kids. We have had ours for two years and we don't feel like we are missing anything.
