I really wish they would leave all the classic movies alone and quit digitally remastering them. Movies like Star Wars and Jurassic Park were fine just the way they were!
I agree with you, although I can see why a producer would be tempted to digitally remaster an older movie. Technology that's available today wasn't available back when these movies were first made, so it limited the producers. Still, I wish they would at least offer both versions. I didn't even realize it until after I'd bought the original 3 Star Wars movies but all of them are the remastered versions. =/ I liked the original versions better.
