We're going to see a live band play uptown in a few weeks. They are a small time band, playing mostly local venues and working around the band members' 9-5 work schedules. Still, they practice regularly and they sound really good! Does anyone else get out to see local bands play?

I rarely go since I've had kids, but sometimes I'll check one out. There are a couple good bands around here that I really enjoy, but most are mediocre.
