About 26 years ago in L. A., KLOS had a Sunday night show where entire albums were played at one time. Anyone remember that show?

I don't remember that but that does sound like something radio used to do. Things like that make me nostalgic. I grew up with WLS in Chicago and whenever I get in a nostalgic mood.......there's WLS

I'm with you both - I loved listening to KLOS when in Los Angeles, knowing how much history went out on those airwaves. And when in Chicago, I like listening to WLS for the same reason. In fact, I can get WLS here in Tulsa sometimes, particularly in the evenings. I even have a preset for it in my car.

But the one I listen to most often for nostalgia is Tulsa's KFAQ, which was KVOO for 75 years. It has a lot of history too, being where Jonnie Lee Wills and Bob Hills and the Texas Playboys regularly played. It also ties history with the Cains Ballroom, another legend in music history. Cains is still going, as a matter of fact, and going strong.
