Hi Wayne and all Pi lovers,

What is your preference when hooking up plate amps in subwoofers?
the options are long RCA cables with adding a Preamp output or Y cable, or just adding the extra shorter run of speaker cable from the plate amp to the main speakers. The second option is obviously the easier but is it better for SQ. I picked up a pair of Dayton 12 in. subs w/ plate amps from the recent Parts Express sale and hope they will work well with my 4 Pis.

Thanks,
Garland

I prefer running preamp level signals to the sub amps. Less signal path that way.

Another option is a wireless setup.
