Anyone who is looking for some reasonably priced gear should really check out the phono stage and integrated from Eastern Electric.

I have no affiliation with Bill and the gang at Morning Star Audio other than I arranged to use the above gear for the GPAF, I am just incredibly impressed that gear this inexpensive sounds as good as it does.

HI,
It looks good, but seems expensive, given that it's using 6bm8 tubes in push-pull mode. This is similar to the $150 antique sound labs or SE electronics kit that I built a while ago, that uses 11bm8s in push pull.
Th estoetkit that Wayne Parham built cost $550 in kit mode, and used 6bm8 tubes also.
I think the big difference here is the use of tube rectification with a PI filter, and maybe better output trannies. Not having heard it versus the stoetkit, i can;t say. But the price seems a little high. Th esound may be great, I would love to hear it.

Got it. Looks good! I heard the nelson audio el34 with 6sn7: really nicely balanced.
